Some say I am from Colombia. Some in Colombia ask me where I am from. I am a citizen of the world, born and raced in Barranquilla, Colombia. I had the opportunity to grow up in a Colombo-Lebanese home, thus learning that the world is far greater than just what I can see. This helped me develop a love for learning about places, people, and cultures around the world. Life has given me the opportunity to live in different countries and fulfill my desire of learning from other cultures and people.
I attended 4 years of General Music Ed, at the Conservatory of Bellas Artes, Universidad del Atlántico, Colombia. Also, I attended the University of Nevada, Reno and received a dual degree in Secondary Education and in Spanish.
Music and languages are two of my passions in life, and I am very blessed to have the opportunity to teach both in this fabulous High School.
I hope this doesn't gross you out; but, yes, fried fish with head on.
My lovely family!
